Stationery or Stationary

What is the difference between office stationery and office stationary? Stationery includes all office supplies and equipment. However, this should not be confused with stationary which has very little to do with office supplies.

It is very surprising to know that people often mis-spell stationery when looking for office supplies by typing stationary, as in standing still or not moving.
