Pantum Printer Drums
To keep your printer running at an optimum level it is important to purchase high quality consumables. Most people only think about ink cartridges and toner cartridges when it comes to printers but there are a number of consumables to take into account.
Laser printers require a drum unit to transfer the toner on to the paper. These printers put the toner onto the drum roller inside of the drum unit. This is then fixed to the paper using pressure and heat. If you do not replace your drum unit when required, this can lead to streaks, smudges and blank spots on the printed page. You may also find that after a while your printer will just stop printing until the dum has been replaced.
Regular maintenance and care can help prolong the life of a printer drum. This includes avoiding exposure to direct light, keeping the drum clean and free from debris, and ensuring the printer is properly calibrated and adjusted.
